John Choe, M.D.

Dr. John H. Choe (pronounced “Chay”), grew up in a military family with his father in the Army and a brother in the Navy. Lieutenant Colonel John H. Choe completed his college in 3 years with magna cum laude honors and completed his medical school at the University of Wisconsin. After his initial officers training at Lackland Air Force Base in 1992, Dr. Choe accepted many assignments throughout the world before returning to where his career began - San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Choe is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Association as well as the Legislative Committee of the Bexar County Medical Association.

Prior to joining HealthTexas Medical Group, Dr. Choe was Medical Director for the Family Practice Clinic at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.

Dr. Choe is Board Certified in Family Practice Medicine and has a special interest in Geriatrics, diabetes and skin care. Dr. Choe currently serves as the Medical Director of HealthTexas Rejuvenation Center and was recently recognized as a Top Doctor in San Antonio 2009 and a Best Doctor in America 2009-2010 by his medical peers.

He is married to Sarah and has three lovely daughters. Dr. Choe looks forward to meeting you and discussing your health care needs.
