Nora Garza, M.D.

Dr. Nora Garza was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She graduated with honors from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and then attended medical school in Houston at the University of Texas and completed her Family Practice residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Garza worked in community medicine for nine years serving as medical director for one of the largest community health centers in Texas. Dr. Garza practiced in San Antonio for the past nine years as a primary care physician focusing on geriatric wellness. She remains active in various volunteer organizations in her community and church. Dr. Garza has received a lifetime appointment as Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians for her outstanding community service and involvement and was recently recognized as a Top Doctor in San Antonio 2009.

She is the proud mother of four girls; Sarah, Eleanor, Alexandra and Josephine. Dr. Garza enjoys a strong commitment to faith, work ethic and sense of community.
