Ramon Colen, M.D.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Dr. Ramon Colen was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and grew up in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Colen earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  He completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  Dr. Colen is an associate member of the American College of Physicians.  In 2002, Dr. Colen received an award from the John A. Hartford Center of Excellence for Geriatric Education. He has also received the distinct honor of being awarded and recognized as one of The Best Doctors in America 2007-2008.

When not taking care of his patients, Dr. Colen enjoys coaching youth soccer.  Dr. Colen is married to Denise and has two children.  Dr. Colen is bilingual in English and Spanish and looks forward to meeting you and discussing your healthcare needs.
