Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Dr. Stella Yu began her career in healthcare as a registered nurse at the St. Joseph Hospital in Houston.  While working as a nurse for five years, she returned to further her education.  She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Visayas Gullas, graduating Cum Laude.  Dr. Yu completed her residency at the Scranton Temple Residency Program in Pennsylvania.  She has practiced in San Antonio since 2001. She has also received the distinct honor of being awarded and recognized as one of The Best Doctors in America 2007-2008.

Dr. Stella Yu is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has a strong interest in Geriatrics and Women’s Health.  She looks forward to meeting you and discussing your healthcare needs.

When not taking care of her patients in her office or in the hospital, she enjoys collecting antiques, playing the piano, and traveling.
